The purpose of The Culinary Institute at Indian River State College is to become the leading resource for restaurant management and culinary arts training and education on the Treasure Coast for both students and the community. Your educational experience is our most important focus and our commitment to our students is carried through in everything we do.

Annual Culinary Showcase April 4!
The Culinary Institute at IRSC will host their annual Student Savory Showcase on Thursday, April 4 at 6 p.m. at the IRSC Mueller Campus, Richardson Center in Vero Beach. This is a free event, open to the public and all are welcome to attend. Come taste some delicious samples prepared by current Institute students. Demonstrate Your Skills in Competition
The IRSC Culinary Institute competes in regional Culinary Arts Competition. In addition, the Institute sponsors local culinary competition for Treasure Coast high schools in Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, and St. Lucie counties.


Florida Sea Grant Advises Against Eating Lionfish

Students Prepare Delicious Food Samples for Culinary Showcase
First and second semester students in The Culinary Institute at IRSC prepared delicious sweet and savory food samples for over 80 community residents at the Institute’s annual Student Showcase and Open House on March 1.
